Your vehicle’s location (Ship From) and destination (Ship To)
We need these locations to determine the price of services to get your vehicle from one place to another. The distance of the shipment will affect the quote, depending on how long we will need to travel. Provide Zip Codes when possible, as they are the most accurate way of knowing your location.
Year, Make, Model
Year, Make, ModelWe also need the year, make, and the model of the vehicle you want shipped with us. Since our services differ depending on the type of vehicle you drive, this can affect your quote. Cars such as luxury or collector vehicles are more expensive and may cost more to ship safely. If you are unsure of the specific information for your car, check your registration or insurance information!
Transport Type
Open: With this type of transport, your car will be shipped on an open trailer along with other vehicles. There’s a slight chance your vehicle could be exposed to weather conditions or road dust along the way – but, it is still a safe and commonly used method. Usually, this is our least expensive option!
Enclosed: With this type of transport, your vehicle will be shipped in a completely covered trailer. Enclosed transport provides extra protection from any debris, dust, and weather along the journey. Although this option is slightly more expensive, it is recommended for luxury or exotic cars.
Car Condition
We will need to know whether or not your vehicle is running, as this can also change the cost of shipping. If your vehicle is not running, it will be more difficult to load. Therefore, it can be more expensive to ship.
Pickup Date
We need you to provide us with a pickup date in order to determine the quote of our services. This can change depending on the time frame. For example, there is an additional cost for our expedited services, but they can get your vehicle moved faster. However, we will try our best to accommodate your pickup date request as much as possible. So, your quote is dependent on the time frame selected.
Name and Contact Information
We also ask that you provide us with your name and contact information. This allows us to contact you about your quote. However, we only use your information for communication between you and Global Auto Transportation. Your personal information will not be used for any other purpose or sold to any other businesses.
